NJ Middle School Mothers Hire Law Firm To Stop School From Islamic Curriculum Indoctrination
Mar 31, 2017 - “Libby Hilsenrath and Nancy Gayer were subjected to personal attacks throughout their campaign to stop Islamic indoctrination at the Chatham Middle School. They were defamed as “bigots” and “Islamophobes”, “hateful”, “ignorant”, “xenophobes”, “intolerant”, “racist”, “closed minded”, “sad and ignorant” in social media, and the list goes on. The attacks significantly intensified after their appearance on the Tucker Carlson Show,”
Two mothers of seventh graders who attend Chatham Middle School in New Jersey have hired the Thomas More Law Center, a public interest law firm, after their legitimate objections to pro-Islamic curriculum in their children’s classes have resulted in personal and social media attacks upon them within their community.
“Their crime: appearing on Fox TV’s Tucker Carlson Show to voice concerns about Islamic indoctrination of Chatham Middle School seventh graders,” the Thomas More Law Center said in a press release on Thursday.
“Libby Hilsenrath and Nancy Gayer were subjected to personal attacks throughout their campaign to stop Islamic indoctrination at the Chatham Middle School. They were defamed as “bigots” and “Islamophobes”, “hateful”, “ignorant”, “xenophobes”, “intolerant”, “racist”, “closed minded”, “sad and ignorant” in social media, and the list goes on. The attacks significantly intensified after their appearance on the Tucker Carlson Show,” the statement continued:
Libby Hilsenrath and Nancy Gayer, with sons in different classes in the seventh grade, [first] detailed their concerns in person to the Chatham Board of Education at their February 6, 2017 public meeting.
Superintendent Michael LaSusa indicated that any change to the curriculum was unlikely, and the next day also refused their request to meet privately with him to discuss their concerns.
The promotion of Islam is worse than what the mothers presented.
“After viewing one of the videos which the seventh graders were directed to watch, I can’t imagine any objective person saying this is not Islamic indoctrination. Clueless school administrators across our nation are allowing this type of indoctrination to take place and it’s up to vigilant parents to stop it. Libby and Nancy should have been praised, not pilloried,” Thompson added.
EDITOR’S NOTE:
Allah is not the “arabic word for God”, it is a generic term meaning “the god” who has no name. Not only that, Allah was only one of 360 gods in ancient Persian culture, and he was known as the “moon god”. Allah is not the God of the Bible, and as such is not the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob worshipped by both Jews and Christians. So to teach a curriculum in a public school that “Allah is the only god” is not only indoctrination, it is also a direct attack on the Bible from cover to cover, and against Christianity in particular.

May 11, 2017 From coast to coast, parents are rebelling against what they describe as Islamic indoctrination of their children in public schools.
In Florida, for example, parents are protesting a newly approved textbook they say whitewashes Islam’s violent history of conquest and subjugation, while in San Diego, an angry father confronted the city’s school board about its partnership with the controversial Council on American-Islamic Relations in an “anti-bullying” program.
The Brevard County School Board in Florida has revised a history textbook that had been condemned by some parents for its selective treatment of Islam, but the new edition still has its critics, reported WKMG-TV in Orlando. The board decided Tuesday night by a 5-0 voted to adopt the ninth-grade 2018 World History book published by Pearson Prentice Hall.
The local chapter of the activist group ACT for America pressed for the revision in an effort “to protect against indoctrination,” arguing the section about Islam ignored the religion’s “true history” and painted Muhammad and the treatment of women favorably.
ACT for America’s local leader, Roger Gangitano, told WKMG the new edition is an improvement, but the “problem remains that Islam is being portrayed in a far more favorable light than what would be 100 percent accurate,” with parents calling it partially “incorrect,” “incomplete” and “slanted.”
