Czech Prime Minister resigns 5/2/17 - Czech's Prime Minister just announced his resignation. Bloomberg reported: Czech Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka vowed to step down after the escalation of a clash with his billionaire Finance Minister, Andrej Babis, just six month before the two were to face off in general elections. In an unexpected move, Sobotka said he’ll submit his government’s resignation to President Milos Zeman this week. The members of the three-party coalition may now find an accord on a cabinet to govern until the elections, scheduled for October, or agree on a snap ballot. The move follows an intensifying conflict between Sobotka and Babis after the premier said last week that the tycoon may have engaged in “tax tricks, or even tax evasion” as he built his empire. Babis has repeatedly rejected the allegations. redstatewatcher.com/article.asp?id=76112
