 My rapture rant!WHY cant preachers stick to the Holy Bible, instead of forever ranting on and on about a rapture? Its NOT the crux of the scriptures! They ruin many otherwise good sermons with this FALSE expectation God is not bound to honor. I have turned OFF many TV and radio programs and preachers when their entire show is about this false, misleading and damning doctrine. I have very FEW preachers I truly like, and every one preaches a rapture. (low rumbling growl!) I was raised to believe Christians will escape troubles. I know all the verses. The Lord in His mercy pulled me out of that to tell me to WARN people. (Ezekiel 33) Prepare to DIE for the Name of Christ! SHAME on todays pastors! Most in pulpits today are wolves. Also, that no prophesied event must occur before Christs return. They also believe that the Day of the Lord commences with the rapture of the church. Expectancy. Many believers in the early church had expectancy that Christ would return in their lifetime. The personal pronoun we, we who are alive and remain (1Thess 4:13-15); the adjective our our gathering together unto Him (2Thess 2:1-2) all demonstrate the expectancy of each generation that Christ could return in his lifetime which became a catalyst for holy living.

Day of the Lord
By looking at the Old Testament description of the Day of the Lord along with making a comparison of the Seal Judgments in the Book of Revelation with the Olivet Discourse in Matthew 24, we will answer the questions of the apostles of what shall be the Sign of the Coming and the End of the Age?
We will close by reading what the apostles understood Jesus to say as we read through the Didache, the teachings of the twelve apostles.
The Day of the Lord. Pre-trib assumes that the Day of the Lord is equivalent to the start of Daniels 7th week (tribulation). Yet the following scriptures point to cosmic disturbances tied to a certain Seal in the Book of Revelation.
Isaiah 13:9-10 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.
Isaiah 34: 4, 8 And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling [fig] from the fig tree. (v8 ) For [it is] the day of the LORD'S vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.
Joel 2: 10-11 The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.
And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp [is] very great: for [he is] strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD [is] great and very terrible; and who can abide it?
Joel 2: 30-31 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.
Joel 3: 14-15 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD [is] near in the valley of decision.
The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.
Acts 2: 19-20 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:
When do these cosmic disturbances occur in relation to the Day of the Lord? Joel 2:31; Acts 2:20 (above) Before the great and terrible/notable day of the Lord
If the Rapture occurs at the Day of the Lord and the Day of the Lord must be preceded by cosmic disturbance, what happens to the view of immanence held by the pre-tribers?
