Dec 30, 2019 NOT part of the climate hoax! - Earth's magnetic north pole, which has been drifting for years, has now crossed the prime meridian. Pole flips have occurred in the past. Magnetic north has been in the Canadian Arctic toward Siberia. The latest model of the Earth's magnetic field predicts that this movement will continue.
Earth's magnetic field is produced by the churning of the planet's iron outer core, which produces a north-south magnetic field. This field is weakening. That's why magnetic north is drifting. The 2020 model shows a Blackout Zone around magnetic north where compasses become unreliable and start to fail.
