Pedo busts in 8 states
May 4, 2019 - Operation Southern Impact focused on arresting individuals who possessed and distributed child pornography, in addition to those who sexually exploited children using the Internet. The bust was in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, North and South Carolina and the Virginias. 82 suspects were arrested in a sting across 8 states targeting those involved in the most violent sexual abuse infants and toddlers. 17 children were rescued or identified as victims. 31 people were arrested in Georgia alone, a youth group leader and a day care administrator were among those charged. t.co/CsbA3N4ZNV
