July 17, 2020 - Portland police close parks, remove barricades to avoid repeat of Seattle-style autonomous zone. Some arrests were made but the parks will remain closed until lawns, bathrooms, benches and public art are repaired.

Gripped by violent demonstrations for weeks, Portland police quickly squashed protesters’ attempts to establish an autonomous zone by clearing barricades and closing down a park across from a courthouse.

Feds permanently blinded in Portland
July 22, 2020 - Federal officers in Portland Oregon may have been permanently blinded by lasers.
Rioters launched fireworks at a courthouse and plotted to cut off water supply.

Crowds over 1,000 on 50 consecutive nights, shined lasers in the eyes of Feds and threw fireworks at a federal courthouse.

FPS Deputy said a crowd surrounded the Courthouse and began removing plywood coverings before attempting to throw objects, some incendiary, through the windows at federal officers inside. They also vandalized the building with spray paint, blocked adjacent intersections and set several fires.
