Kurdistan is north and east Syria into Iraq and SE Turkey and NW Iran.
I have read ISIS has mostly left the Raqqa area, some reports say they went to Lebanon.

Mar 27, 2017 KURDISTAN - Months after Kurds kicked ISIS out of Manbij, change is in the air, burqas are replaced by a women’s council. Kurds liberated Manbij, 84 miles from Raqqa in August 2016. The city seems gradually returning to the way of life it enjoyed before ISIS. But they fear invasion by Turkey.
Those damned evil Turks, I hate them so much! Turkey was also ISIS.
SYRIA * SDF takes military airport
Mar 27, 2017 - U.S.-SDF Syrian alliance of Kurdish and Arab militias takes military airport in northern Syria. They had seized 70% of the airport but were still engaged in intense clashes with ISIS inside the air base and on its outskirts.
The SDF have been battling ISIS near the Tabqa dam and air base west of the city of Raqqa. The Pentagon airdropped local ground forces behind enemy lines near Tabqa in northern Syria. The Tabqa (Euphrates) Dam is about 25 miles upstream from Raqqa and the air base.

After capturing Tabqa air base last week, the SDF is fighting ISIS for control of the dam on the River Euphrates. Its reservoir and hydroelectric power station suppy large parts of Syria.
