The Air Force directed two B-1B Lancer bombers from Guam to make the flight, following a similar flight they made over the same sea last month. They said their list of 13 demands of Qatar is void, vowing to enact new measures against it. Doha's refusal of their demands is proof of its links to terror groups. Some of their demands were shutting down Al-Jazeera, downgrading ties with Iran and closing a Turkish military base. Measures taken by Saudi would be aimed at the Qatari government not its people. July 8, 2017 - US, Russia Reach Syria Cease-Fire Deal After 2 Hour Meeting. The United States and Russia have reached agreement on a cease-fire in southwest Syria. The cease-fire is set to take effect Sunday July 9, 2017. Jordan and Israel also are part of the agreement. They both share a border with southern Syria and are concerned. Israel wants a 30-mile buffer zone to protect against Hezbollah and Iran, but doesn't want the zone controlled by Russia.
