G7 Italy focused on Syria
April 11, 2017 - G7 are holding Russian President Vladimir Putin responsible for the actions of Syria and make Secy of State Rex Tillerson the tip of the spear. Putin sought to avoid the snare by refusing to grant T-Rex an audience. Tillerson visited Moscow April 12.
US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson arrived in Italy for G7
G7 = United States, Japan, Germany, France, Britain, Italy and Canada.
Russia was part of the G8, but it was ejected in 2014 over Crimea region. Turkey, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Qatar are also scheduled to take part in a special session.
Rome is on a collision course with U.S. President Donald Trump over the climate hoax, free trade and immigration initiatives. The White House has not nominated candidates for the deputy to Secretary of State Rex Tillerson.
G7 seeks to pressure Russia to reconsider Assad support
The G7 aims to send Russia a clear and coordinated message to end its support for Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. The U.S. received broad support from Europe after the airstrikes.
