Memo from CIA to FBI says Cambridge was told to call the American embassy for some big news President Donald Trump orders release of 2,800 JFK records with Temporary Redactions to be reviewed immediately. Trump issued a memorandum to release 2,800 records related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, with temporary redactions, to be reviewed over the next 6 months. President Trump has asked all records to be released with appropriate redactions. The National Archives made 2,800 of the JFK records public at 8 pm October 26, 2017. The President intends to allow as much transparency as possible in the least amount of time. The National Archives will release more records, with redactions only in the rarest of circumstances, by the deadline of April 26, 2018. The files, which have been digitized over the past two years, are in a spreadsheet format and should be searchable based on that metadata.
