Aug 22, 2020 - President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump held a private funeral service for his brother Robert Trump in the East Room of the White House Aug. 21, 2020. Around 5:20 pm Robert’s casket was transferred to a hearse waiting outside. Bagpipes played the hymn “Abide With Me.”

“Robert, I Love You. Rest in Peace!” the president wrote on Twitter

The event marked the first White House funeral service since 1963 when president John F. Kennedy was assassinated.
