Charges were filed in the Southern District of New York. US federal authorities have charged Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro and others with drug trafficking and narco terrorism. The charges against Maduro were unveiled by Attorney General William Barr and other federal prosecutors. Maduro helped lead the Cartel of the Suns to facilitate the drug trafficking.
