🌋 Saint Vincent volcano eruption sparks mass evacuation
Apr 10, 2021 An explosive volcano eruption blanketed the Caribbean island of St Vincent in ash and smoke and forced thousands of people out of their homes. The volcano spewed ash plumes 3.7 miles into the air prompting aircraft warnings.

La Soufriere first started showing volcanic activity in December 2020 which picked up this week. April 8 PM Ralph Gonsalves urged 16,000 residents in red zones to evacuate. The #volcano had been dormant since 1979

Sept 10, 2022 Strong earthquakes jolt parts of Indonesia’s West Papua province
At least four land-based earthquakes of between 6.2 and 5.5 magnitudes were recorded, though there were no early reports of damage or casualties.
