Russia blames Israel
Sep 24, 2018 - Russians are hiding their own military lapses by blaming Israel over the downing of the Russian plane on Sept. 17. When the Syrian missiles struck the Russian plane, IAF jets were inside Israeli airspace, and during the Israeli air raid over Latakia, the Russian plane was not within the area of the operation.

Nov 25, 2018 - Syria media claimed a mortar attack in West Aleppo injured dozens and that some had been treated for toxic gases. Assad responded to the attack, which came after a ceasefire was brokered by Turkey and Russia that is supposed to keep Idlib province quiet.

President Assad regained Aleppo from ISIS in the fall of 2016.
However ISIS still control areas north of Aleppo and in Idlib province.

US, Israel weapons found in Syria
Dec 26, 2018 - The Syrian army discovered an underground cache in a dugout near the Israeli border of the Golan Heights in Quneitra province.

Inside were weapons such as anti-tank missiles, mortars, rifles, and machine guns, produced in the US, Israel, and Jordan. They also found protective gear, satellite communication devices and medical equipment made in the US and Israel.
