There is serious criticism of Russia for deactivating its S-300 air defense missiles from Lebanon. Feb 11, 2019 debka - A new offensive against ISIS in Syria was launched by the Syrian Democratic Forces and Kurd YPG in Deir Ez-Zour province near Abu Kamal. The western coalition provided air support and heavy artillery fire from US Marines. ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is believed to have fled to Iraq.
