July 6, 2020 - Four Toledo City Council members arrested by FBI June 30, 2020 on Bribery Charges. Tyrone Riley, Yvonne Harper, Larry Sykes, and Garrick āGaryā Johnson and Keith Mitchell. Harper was charged with Interstate Communications with Intent to Extort. They were involved in a scheme that extorted money from business owners. They could face up to 10 years in prison for the bribery charges, and up to 20 years on the extortion charges. The November general election is not actually a direct vote for the presidential candidates. Voters instead choose a slate of electors appointed in their states by the political parties.
