Joseph Rago, known for his influence on policy makers, was found dead July 20, 2017 at his home in Manhattan. He was 34 years old. NYPD went to check on Rago when WSJ called the police after didnt show up for work. Rago was found with no obvious signs of trauma and emergency responders declared him dead at the scene. This request includes any records or correspondence resulting from any investigation of his murder. They rejected FOIA request, demanding he submit a death certificate with his request to prove that Rich was dead. Sean O’Neil at DOJ directed the executive office for U.S. attorneys to produce any records covered in FOIA request.
