Jun 10, 2017 - Attorney General Jeff Sessions is ending Xident Obama policy that allowed money from settlement agreements involving high-profile lawsuits to go to unrelated, third-party groups that had nothing to do with the original dispute - aka slush fund for liberal organizations.

In a DoJ letter to 94 U.S. attorneys, Sessions wrote that effective immediately, Department attorneys may not enter into any agreement on behalf of the United States in settlement of federal claims or charges, including agreements settling civil litigation, accepting plea agreements, or deferring or declining prosecution in a criminal matter, that directs or provides for a payment or loan to any non-governmental person or entity that is not a party to the dispute.

When the federal government settles a case against a corporate wrongdoer, any settlement funds should go first to the victims and then to the American people — not to bankroll whoever is in power.

Sessions sent letters to the chairmen of the committees saying that he will send his deputy Rod Rosenstein in his stead.

Comey manipulated the system into getting his friend appointed Special Counsel, and now that friend will be investigating matters in which Comey is a key witness. Judge Nap says Sessions should NOT testify
Jun 13, 2017 - Judge Andrew Napolitano believes Attorney General Jeff Sessions decision to testify in an open hearing. Sessions is not testifying as the attorney general, he is testifying as a witness.

He is going to be accused of perjury, he is going to come to a conflict point where he has to decide - is he here to defend the president of the U.S. or himself. That is an awful position for him to be in.

I would advise: Do not put yourself in this position, it is a no win situation.
