Apr 4, 2017 – End Of The American DreamWhat in the world has happened to the United States? We are rapidly getting to the point where political correctness is in danger of becoming our national religion. Of course most people would not even call it a “religion”, but for most Americans this unwritten set of rules shapes everything that they think, do and say. Many had been hoping that the spell of political correctness would be broken by the election of Donald Trump, but that obviously has not happened. The forces of political correctness still have a stranglehold on our education system, on all forms of entertainment, on our legal system, and on most of the politicians in both political parties. The unwritten rules of political correctness are shifting and changing all the time, and if you don’t keep up with them the penalties can be extremely severe. If you do or say the wrong thing at the wrong time, you could lose your friends, you could lose your job, and you could potentially even lose your reputation. In fact, there have been numerous people over the past year that have been publicly crucified in the court of public opinion for doing or saying something that was not politically-correct. And with each passing day, the forces of political correctness take a little bit more ground. A middle school in North Hollywood is facing substantial budget cuts because they have too many non-minority students… Outrage has grown at Walter Reed Middle School in North Hollywood, as the school faces layoffs and increased class sizes due to a law limiting funds for schools with a higher white student body. The Los Angeles Unified School District provides more funding for schools where the white population is below 30 percent. In a letter to parents, the district noted the highly regarded middle school had been above the percentage for the past couple years. An elementary school in California has banned the game of “tag” because it is too dangerous. At one high school in Iowa, students were recently denounced as “racists” for dressing up in red, white and blue for a basketball game. In North Carolina, as early as the first grade a “gender unicorn” is being used to teach children “about sexual orientation and gender identity“… Just last year in our home city of Charlotte, North Carolina, the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System used the “gender unicorn” to teach students—as young as first grade—all about sexual orientation and gender identity. This cute, little, fury animal was used to promote the idea that sexual orientation asks the question, “Who do you go to bed with?” while gender identity asks the question, “Who do you go to bed as?” And these can be fluid, of course. Kids can change whenever and however they want. A Christian university in Minnesota has told professors “to stop using terms such as ‘man’ and ‘mankind’ because they are too masculine“. SIN - Snickers bars will soon be sold in rainbow wrappers “as part of a pro-LGBT ad campaign“. A 32-year-old man will now compete in international volleyball events as a transgender woman, and may end up qualifying for the Olympics as a female athlete… The now 32-year old says volleyball has been the constant in a life full of changes. In January, she was just approved by USA Volleyball to compete as a woman. Before that, she was required to play in the men’s division at all USAV sanctioned events. USAV requires transgender women to undergo hormone replacement therapy consistently for at least one year — with proper documentation — and they also have to change their identification, like passports and birth certificates, to female. Before, some organizations, including the Olympics, would require trans athletes to have sex reassignment surgery. Planned Parenthood has killed millions of children, but nobody from that organization ever seems to get into trouble with the law. Instead, two activists that exposed the fact that Planned Parenthood is auctioning off baby parts to the highest bidder have been charged with 15 felonies in the state of California. In this type of environment, people like me are becoming dinosaurs. If you follow my work on a regular basis, you know that I am not afraid to do or say things that might offend some people. Of course I am not actually trying to offend anyone, but I won’t let the forces of political correctness dictate what I can or cannot say about a particular topic. Ultimately, political correctness is a tool that progressives use to silence the opposition. They want to make it a crime to think or say anything that they might find offensive, and to a substantial degree it is working. Our founders intended for us to permanently have a right to free speech, but now we have moved into a time when saying the wrong thing can get you brutally persecuted. I would like to be optimistic that we can start to roll back the forces of political correctness, but as I noted at the beginning of this article, they have control of our schools, our courts, our entertainment and most of our political leaders. Hallmark Offering Cards to Celebrate ‘Gender Transitions’5/27/17 The popular greeting card company Hallmark is selling cards to affirm those who identify as “transgender” and to celebrate those who are undergoing gender “transitions,” the company has confirmed. “Hallmark is committed to helping people share what’s in their hearts with those they love, and we strive to be inclusive and relevant with our products,” the company said in a statement this week, as reported by Bustle. “We are committed to reflecting people’s real lives and enriching their relationships, and our mission includes all people.” While Hallmark began making its transgender line available in 2015, the offering just recently came to light. The company features a variety of cards on its website for homosexual relationships and transgender identification. “Your identity is who you are. Wear it proudly, celebrate it with loved ones, and love out loud,” the site reads. “Hallmark is proud to offer a wide selection of greeting cards crafted to capture the colorful, inspiring LGBTQIA community in all of its shapes and forms.” “Regardless of orientation or identity, whether you’re in a same-sex relationship or one that transcends labels, we are here to help you celebrate love and milestones with creativity and sincerity,” it states. Hallmark’s offerings include cards such as “mommy + mommy + baby makes three,” “it’s a simple story of boy meets boy,” “closets are for clothes,” “party so hard you can’t ever see straight” and “queen for a day is for underachievers,” the latter of which celebrates drag queens. The company also sells cards offering well-wishes for those who are undergoing procedures to identify as the opposite sex, including, “You’re becoming who you’ve always been” and “You are trans-tastic.” In addition to being sold online, the company has also made its homosexual and transgender affirmation line available in some stores. “We know how increasingly diverse our connections to each other are, and we’re here to help people express love, celebration, support or recognition in a wide range of situations,” Hallmark said. “It is our goal to be inclusive rather than exclusive so that our products appeal to the widest range of people who wish to communicate and connect with one another.” Word about the cards has generated a mix of public opinion, with some pleased with the inclusion and others stating that gender dysphoria should not be encouraged. “Will these be sold in the ‘You must be confused’ section?” one commenter asked. “I usually stayed away from Hallmark brand because their themes were outdated. Chad Sevearance is president of the Charlotte Business Guild, which describes itself as “a network of LGBT professionals, business owners, employees and individuals in the Charlotte area who meet to nurture a network of business contacts; encourage fellowship and support among community business, professional and charitable pursuits; and provide and promote positive role models in the LGBT community.” Sevearance and his group have taken a lead role in seeking the right to allow males to use the restrooms and showers of females, including those of little girls, which is described by advocates as nothing more than nondiscrimination measures. Sevearance was quoted in the Charlotte Observer saying that because a recent bathroom “nondiscrimination ordinance” bill did not pass, “someone can ask me to leave a restaurant because I’m presumed to be gay or transgender.” In 1998, Sevearance worked as a youth minister and in that capacity allegedly lured younger men to his apartment to spend the night where Severance showed them pornography and tried to talk them into sex. One boy testified that he woke up to find Severance “fondling him.” Severance was convicted on one charge of sexual molestation of a minor. As a result of his 2000 conviction, Sevearance must register with the police on a regular basis for a minimum of ten years. His most recent mug shot and registration took place at the end of last year. A reporter with the Charlotte Observer confirmed for Breitbart News that the Chad Sevearance they frequently quote is the same man who was convicted for sexual assault of a minor in 2000. Repeated calls to the Charlotte Business Guild went unanswered.
