Eight-Year-Old Drag Queen: If Your Parents Won’t Let You Do Drag, ‘You Need New Parents’

A video of an eight-year-old boy who performs in drag has gone viral, with the child advising during the interview that if one’s parents will not allow them to be a drag queen, “you need new parents.”

Nemis Quinn Mélançon-Golden uses the stage name “Lactatia,” which he says was suggested by his teenage sister. Last month, Mélançon-Golden appeared at Montreal’s “Werq the World Tour,” where drag queen Bianca Del Rio told the child that he was “[expletive] adorable,” among other profanities.

Mélançon-Golden’s mother handles his makeup before shows, as he often wears lipstick, eyeliner and shadow, as well as a long wig.

“Obviously, we’re not like most moms and dads,” the boy’s parents, Jessica Mélançon and Coriander Golden, told Best Kept Montreal. “Instead of Saturday morning soccer practice, we have Vogue classes. When we go clothes shopping, it’s equal parts black skinny jeans and skulls as it is sequins and tulle. We talk ollies, grinding and dropping in. He’s pretty dedicated to his skateboard, just as much as contouring and tuck tape!”

A video released by “LGBT in the City” on June 4, which as of press time has over a million views on Facebook and over 200,000 views on YouTube, features Mélançon-Golden opining that if children want to be drag queens and their parents won’t allow it, they need new parents.

“Anyone can do what they want in life,” he stated. “It doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks. If you want to be a drag queen and your parents don’t let you, you need new parents. If you want to be a drag queen and your friends don’t let you, you need new friends.”

Mélançon-Golden also advised that he has been performing in drag since he was seven, but has worn dresses since he was three.

“[W]e’ve gifted both of our children with the ideal that there’s nothing just for girls and nothing just for boys,” his parents explained to Best Kept Montreal. “He grew up wearing his sister’s hand me down princess costumes and fancy shoes while playing with monster trucks and riding a skateboard.”

They said that their son was concerned about being accepted at first because most men who dress in drag are homosexual and he doesn’t have an interest in those of the same sex.

“It’s something we’ve talked a lot about at length because he expressed his concern that people wouldn’t think he was a ‘real’ drag queen or take him seriously because he doesn’t feel like he’s gay,” Mélançon-Golden’s parents outlined. “Maybe he will in the future? Who knows.”

The viral video and subsequent reports have generated a variety of reactions, with homosexual news sites cheering the boy on as “incredible” and Christian ministries aimed at helping homosexuals expressing concern about the welfare of the child.

“We are witnessing the LGBTQ+ community embrace child abuse by cultivating mental illness by promoting ‘drag’ in a child. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know this will eventually lead to sexual play,” Stephen Black, a a former homosexual who now leads First Stone Ministries, told reporters.

“Today we are seeing—truly, right before our eyes—a moral decline like we have never witnessed, a demented mindset that calls evil good, and good evil. The Bible predicted these days would come and we are surely in them,” he said.

LGBTQ petition demands permanent ‘rainbow crosswalks’ in cities across the country – TheBlaze

LGBTQ activists in cities across the country are calling for city officials to create “rainbow crosswalks” to “honor the LGBTQ community.”

“Rainbow crosswalks” are public crosswalks that have been repainted in rainbow colors, which have been adopted by the LGBTQ community as a symbol of greater acceptance and rights for LGBTQ causes and beliefs.

Activists are urging local lawmakers to create the crosswalks through the use of petitions. Currently, one of the cities targeted is Chicago. A petition is now circulating there that has garnered more than 4,000 signatures. According to the petition’s text, “Some cities, like San Francisco, have made LGBTQ people feel more at home by creating permanent rainbow crosswalks to honor the LGBTQ community. … This is one small thing that could be done to signal to one of the most marginalized communities in the country that we are here for them, we see them, and we support them.”

Washington, D.C., already installed temporary rainbow crosswalks honoring transgender persons earlier this year, and Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed announced this week the city will make its rainbow crosswalks permanent following the circulation of a petition that amassed more than 22,000 signatures. Reed said the crosswalks would be featured year-round in part to honor those who lost their lives in the 2016 Pulse Nightclub shooting in Orlando.

“On June 12, 2016, amidst the celebration of Pride Month, 49 individuals lost their lives in an unspeakable tragedy in Orlando, Florida,” Reed said in a press release. “Today, on the anniversary of this horrific event, we remember those whose lives were lost and those that were forever changed. Our thoughts and prayers were with you then, and they remain with you today.”

Philadelphia and San Francisco already have permanent rainbow crosswalks of their own, and petitions are now also circulating in and Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Milwaukee and New York City to install similar crosswalks, all of which would presumably be paid for by taxpayers.

SAD: You Won't Believe The Group Gay Pride Parades Are Trying To Remove From Parades

Gay pride parade organizers are trying to remove gay pro-Trump attendees from their parades.

Gay pride parades are generally celebratory affairs, but they've also almost always had a political side too.

"I'm here and want to have fun!" had an inherent political edge to it when the right to be openly gay or transgender was still being litigated in courts of both law and public opinion.

The right to be gay is all but settled as a legal matter these days, and transgender acceptance has been dramatically increasing. One might expect, then, that the pride parades of summer might start to grow less political and more like other cultural celebrations.

Apparently not. LGBT leaders' opposition to President Donald Trump has made the parades more political. In at least one case, parade organizers have rejected a float.

Even though Brian Talbert is gay, the organizers of Charlotte, North Carolina's pride event have told him he can't participate with a float touting his support for Trump.

Talbert's story is picking up national attention. From The Washington Post:

Reached by email, Charlotte Pride released a statement saying the organization "reserves the right to decline participation" at events to groups that do not reflect the mission and values of the organization.

The statement said that policy is acknowledged in its parade rules and regulations, and noted that in the past, organizers have made "similar decisions" to decline participation from "other organizations espousing anti-LGBTQ religious or public policy stances."

"Charlotte Pride envisions a world in which LGBTQ people are affirmed, respected, and included in the full social and civic life of their local communities, free from fear of any discrimination, rejection, and prejudice," the statement added.

But Trump has notably not espoused anti-gay policy stances and has, in fact, resisted efforts to do so within his administration. So far, Trump is probably the most LGBT-friendly Republican president we've had.

America has slowly begun to acknowledge that for many people, gender is much more complicated than simply being a man or a woman. And a growing number of Americans are seeking recognition of a third gender, neither exclusively male or female, under the label non-binary.

EDITOR’S NOTE: One of the greatest Bible teachers of the 20th century, Peter S. Ruckman, had a very good and very controversial teaching where he connects the letter “x” with the coming Antichrist. He goes on to give a list (quoted in article below) of words that end with “x” that all seem to have something creepy in common. He passed away last year at the age of 95, but the coming craziness he predicted decades ago is now coming to pass. As for that list of words that end with “x”, you might want to check it out. Seriously. You should.

People typically think of transgender as meaning gender reversal, where someone identifies as the opposite sex from their birth sex. But transgender is an umbrella term used to cover a wide spectrum of people whose gender identity is different from the one they were assigned at birth.

Non-binary people have always been part of the population. But for the first time, state governments in the U.S.. are beginning to recognize their identity. Oregon approved a third gender option on driver’s licenses last week; California’s Senate passed a law with the same aim, and similar legislation was introduced in both New York and the District of Columbia this week.

Non-binary people are now represented in popular culture as well. Actor Asia Kate Dillon, who is credited with being the “first non-binary actor ever to be portrayed on TV,” plays a gender non-binary character on the Showtime series Billions.

“Hello, I’m Taylor. My pronouns are they, theirs and them,” Dillon’s Billions character declares when introduced to one of the show’s two protagonists. The scene likely also introduced the concept of non-binary people and non-gender specific pronouns to many viewers.
Words that end with “x” that you should know about:

The issue of gender on official documentation is not merely a semantic one.

Nearly one-third of transgender people said they were harassed, assaulted or denied service because their ID did not match their “gender presentation,” according to the 2015 U.S. Transgender Survey from the National Center for Transgender Equality.

“Presenting an identification document that does not accurately reflect one’s sex and is inconsistent with one’s gender identity can trigger invasions of privacy, prejudice, stigma, violence and discrimination and harassment in a wide variety of settings, including in employment, education, public accommodations, health care, housing and interactions with the government, including with law enforcement,” the LGBT civil rights group Lambda Legal wrote to the Oregon Department of Transportation arguing for the rule change to allow a third gender option.

Oregon became the first state to give residents the option to identify as neither male or female on their driver’s licenses and state identification cards Thursday after a ruling by the Oregon Transportation Commission. Beginning July 1, those IDs will offer an “X” as a third option in addition to the traditional “F” and “M.”

A bill passed the California Senate to allow the state’s residents to change their gender identity on their birth certificates and state IDs, including driver’s licenses, to “female, male, or non-binary.” The bill is currently awaiting a vote in the state Assembly.
