Russia to monitor Syria Golan, not Iran
May 12, 2017 - Moscow responded to Israel’s concerns about posting Iran and Turks on its borders to 'monitor' South Syria zones. Russia agreed to replace them with Russians in the Mt. Hermon region and the areas where Israeli, Lebanese and Syrian borders meet. Jun 26, 2017 - Syrian shells fell on Israeli Golan for the third day. Syria warns Israel against self defense. Muslim basturds feel powerful now after Ramadam. Both Assad and Russia consider Golan Syria territory, however that is not so. Israel and Syria share it. IDF tanks opened fire on Syrian positions in the Quneitra area, which the IAF had targeted the day before. Iran seeks to establish itself militarily in Syria, and increasingly arm Hezbollah. The Syrian army warned Israel against continuing its (self defense) cross border attacks on the Golan. Syria accuses Israel of supporting ISIS / rebels which USA supports. Syrian military thwarted a Nusra attack in the Baath district of Quneitra, then Israel attacked Syria military posts 'in support of the terrorists.' Its a VERY confusing situation in Syria, who is enemy. Hellzballah and Iran are both ENEMY, but Assad regards them as friend, so does Russia. Golan battles bring Hizballah near Israeli border In the last 48 hours, Israel has hit Syrian army positions near Baath, Quneitra, 3 km from IDF Golan border defenses. This spot has shelled Israeli Golan for 3 days. Israel CANT allow this. Assad army appears planning to seize control of Syria’s borders with Jordan and Israel. BOTH Jordan and Jerusalem are in jeopardy. Iran, Hellzballah, Afghan Shiite militia are fighting on the side of the Assad regime. Palestinians, Druzes are part of the Hizballah brigade. Israeli PM Binyamin Netanyahu warned Vladimir Putin that Israel has red lines against a permanent Iran presence in Syria near its borders. Yet Russia put Iran and Hizballah officers at Quneitra. Thats the closest Iran-Hizballah troops has ever come to Israel’s border with Syria. They were brought over from their base at Khan Arnaba, east of the Golan. Russian officers were seen driving Iranian and Hizballah officers into Quneitra. Former Syrian governors of Quneitra and Daraa rode along.
