Nov 14, 2021 Saif al-Islam Gaddafi, the son of Muammar Gaddafi, will run for president.
The 49-year-old is registered as a candidate in the December 24 presidential election. Saif will be running against eastern military commander Khalifa Haftar, Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh who is PM of the evil UN-recognized GNU in Tripoli, and Aguila Saleh.

Saif al-Islam will run as a member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Libya.

Italy resumes direct flights from Libya
July, 2023 The Italy embassy in Libya tweeted that Rome had lifted the ban which had been in place for a decade. Italy’s embassy in Tripoli said that a delegation from Rome had been received by Minister of State Walid Al Lafi from Libya’s Government of National Unity.
