Jun 29, 2017 - Baghdad authorized to challenge Kurd oil shipment. The Iraqi Oil Ministry is ready to legally challenge oil exports from Kurdistan from Neverland, a tanker ship headed into the Atlantic Ocean. A senior Iraqi Oil Ministry official told S&P Global Platts that they are authorized to challenge the legality of the shipment and any other tankers, marking increased tension between Baghdad and Erbil. Kurdistan sends oil through a pipeline terminating at Turkey’s Ceyhan port to ship to world markets. The Italian-flagged Neverland departed Ceyhan on June 13 with more than 700,000 b/d, destined for Augusta, Italy, but it turned off its transponder on June 21 just past Gibraltar, and headed toward the Atlantic Ocean. The United Kalavryta carrying more than 1 million barrels of Kurdish oil was stopped 60 miles off the coast of Galveston, Texas, after the Iraqi Oil Ministry challenged the sale by filing a lawsuit against the KRG in a Houston court. Jun 29, 2017 Erbil - Kurd Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani said that total Russian oil Rosneft investment in Kurdistan is around $3 billion after signing a preliminary Memorandum of Understanding. The agreement signed in St. Petersburg 2017 May will not come into effect until Autumn, after it is ratified by the Kurdish government. The oil and gas agreement is aimed at increasing oil exports to up to 1 million barrels. The deal also mentions oil exploration in Kurdistan. The Memorandum of Understanding 200-pages long and it may take months to study. Kurd Oil and Gas Council has been given authority under law to sign such agreements with energy companies. The details of the negotiations and meetings also must be examined and approved by the Oil and Gas Council. This will make the KRG (Kurds) dependent on Russia and Turkey for economic growth/security. Russian company buys the oil and develops the field delivery system, Turkey's pipeline transports to Turkish port. This deal began in February. July 1, 2017 - Trump better help them! Turkey evacuates Kurd villages in Shehba and Efrîn for invasion. Marea also being evacuated in preparation for the declaration of a military zone.  BAD news for Syria Kurdistan
July 1, 2017 - Turkey is invading Kurdistan, and they have NO rights inside Syria! Kurds are crying out for intl help to prevent massacre. This is also BAD news for both Presidents Trump and Putin. Trump truly needs to help the Kurds against Turkey. Problem is - Russia and Turkey are allied. Putin is also in a fix. Putin protects Syria / Assad, and Turkey and Syria are at war, and Turkey is Putin's ally. Both Trump and Putin are real leaders. PLEASE figure this out in FAVOR of Kurds and AGAINST Turkey! July 11, 2017 - Kurdistan Workers Party ( PKK) has been fighting Turkey for Kurdish autonomy since 1984. Kurdistan Freedom Falcons ( TAK) is the offshoot of the PKK. Turkey has no problem with Kurdistan President Massoud Barzani in Iraq. Kurds in Syria means the Democrat Union Party ( PYD), which shares the same narrative and ideology developed by PKK leader Abdullah Ocalan. Syrian Democratic Forces, SDF, QSD are an alliance of Kurds, Arab, Turkmen, Assyrian and Armenian militias. I think Syria, Turkey, Iraq and Iran should let Kurds have Kurdistan and quit the war. Kurdistan has oil so they can be self supporting. Kurds are good fighters - better ally than enemy of course - thats supposing Turks are rational NE Syria Turkey bombing Kurds

Turkey is angry the USA armed the YPF Kurds. PYD Kurds in Idlib trying to dislodge Turkey, who dont belong there. USA backed YPG Kurds control Afrin, west of Raqqa. The Iraqi border area is controlled by the PYD/YPG. The Kurds want their nation-state, Kurdistan. The referendum faces opposition from Shiite Iran, the Iraqi Shiite government and Turkey who opposes everyone. The Syrian-Hizballah Army (and Iran) crossed the Euphrates River across pontoon bridges to reach the eastern bank and establish a bridgehead there. The day the MiG-29s arrived in Syria, British Gen. Rupert Jones threatened to strike them if they crossed the Euphrates River. US watched the Russians putting the pontoons over the river for the crossing but did nothing. This step is tantamount to opening up an Iran military corridor between Iraq and Syria by cutting deep into the US-ruled region of eastern Syria.
