Palm Sonday Palm Sonday (April 9) when Jesus rode into Jerusalem. This year Passover is April 11, and what christians call easter April 16.
Jesus arrived in Bethany for dinner 6 days before the Passover celebration. People flocked to see him and also to see Lazarus, who Jesus had raised from the dead. The next day, Jesus headed to Jerusalem on young donkey. A large crowd of Passover visitors there took palm branches and went down the road to meet him shouting, HOSANNA! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!

In 2017 Passover is April 11th. A Hebrew DAY is from sunset to sunset, so they eat the Passover seder meal in the evening. This year the Seder is at Night fall of the 10th of April.

Peter and John entered the tomb. They still did not understand from the Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.
