BAD 7.3 Earthquake hits mideast It was felt from Israel to Iraq-Iran Kurdistan to Kuwait Nov 13, 2017 - Israel rattled as 7.2-magnitude earthquake hit northeast Iraq. High casualty reports from Kurd provinces in Iran. In Kurd-Iran 129 killed and up to 1,000 injured. Most of the destruction occurred in Kermanshah and Illam provinces. 61+ killed in Tehran and 300+ injured. Officials warned of further casualties due to the damaged structures, and the loss of electricity, water, and communications. Iran media described it as the earthquake that shook half of Iran. (I would add - shook half the Mideast. This quake adds to other crises facing Kurdistan, said Qubad Talabani. If the dam breaks at Darbandikhan, millions of Kurds could die. Temblors felt in Tel Aviv and across Israel. Lights swung, rocked in Israel. It was centered 19 miles southwest of Halabja, Iraq near the northeastern border with Iran. Kurdistan330 killed and thousands more injured as 7.3-magnitude earthquake hits Iran and Iraq followed by more than 100 aftershocks. The earthquake hit 19 miles southwest of Halabja in Iraqi Kurdistan at 9.20 pm on Sunday. Over 300 were killed and quake was felt as far west as the Mediterranean coast. Over 100 aftershocks, buildings destroyed. Kermanshah province of Iran is the hardest hit.
