Idlib, Syria and ISIS
Feb 14, 2020 - Turkey President Erdogan will push Syrian forces beyond Idlib. Turkey has set up 12 observation posts in the last ISIS stronghold in Syria as part of a 2018 deal with Russia, which backs Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. 0bama started this war, POTUS Trump is ending it. The battle for Idlib
The last ISIS stronghold is in northwest Syria where Assad home is.
Parts of Idlib and Aleppo provinces are now the front lines of the battle between good and evil. Assad needs to take control over highway M5 through Aleppo and Idlib provinces and links Aleppo to Damascus. Idlib is adjacent to Latakia province, a Syrian government stronghold that is home to the Russian military airbase Hmeimim.

Damascus airport hit
Feb 18, 2020 - Significant damage to warehouses and office buildings at Damascus Airport, following airstrikes Feb. 13 that were blamed on Israel. The warehouses apparently stored missiles, weapons from Iran.
Missiles struck 5 weapons depots.

Syria bombings
June 24, 2020 - Israeli airstrikes in Iran bases in Syria kills 2.
Airstrikes were reported in Syria near the Israeli border as well as in Deir Ezzor. Several military bases in central and southern Syria have been targeted by air attacks that Damascus has blamed on Israel. Israel targeted several locations in Salamiyah and Saburah just before 1 am, Syria air defenses shot down hostile missiles but some struck their targets.

Sep 3 2020 - Syria-Iran airbase attacked the Homs province of Syria. The base is located in the desert, near Palmyra. Israel often strikes the location after Iran has sent missiles there.

Sep 20, 2020 - US reinforcements push back against Russian drive into Northeast Syria.
The US is reinforcing its 500-troop contingent in northern Syria with 6 Bradley fighting vehicles, 100 troops, fighter jets, Apache helicopter gunship patrols, and Sentinel radars to track Russian helicopters, after several run-ins with Russian forces. In one incident, a Russian armored vehicle rammed a US ground patrol and injured 7 American soldiers.

US and Russia in this area near the Turkey and Iraq borders managed to steer clear of each other. Russians started pushing more aggressively recently to expand their turf. Russian officers were offering protection to local Kurd villagers in the security zone which hosts US forces. Most were rebuffed.

US hardware increased in Syria
Sep 19, 2020 - US sends mechanized troops back into Syria. Bradley vehicles have headed back into eastern Syria. U.S. military deployed Sentinel radar and increased the frequency of fighter jet patrols over U.S. forces in that part of Syria. US continue to defeat ISIS without interference. 30th Armored Brigade was sent to Syria in October 2019 to guard oil from ISIS.

Turkey trouble in Syria

Turks have committed abuses in northern Syria after Ankara illegally occupied Afrin, Jarabulus, Idlib and Tel Abyad over the last 3 years.
Decades ago Turkey tried to genocide Armenians, they fled their land.
