Russia secures another US outpost in Syria Dec 26, 2019 - GOOD. Russia is helping President Assad so US forces can leave. Russian military policemen secured a village near Raqqa, formerly occupied by US troops, as Moscow continues to patrol strategic areas along the Turkish-Syrian border.
They arrived at Tal Samin north of Raqqa earlier this week. ISIS had occupied it. Tal Samin lies near a strategic highway intersection that connects Raqqa with central and northern Syria.
