Syria plant linked to North Korea
Sep 7, 2017 DEBKA - IAF hits CERS, a chemical weapons facility. North Korean engineers were employed at the Syria CERS plant. This facility west of Hama in central Syria has overseen chemical warfare and missile programs since the 1970s. Syria and North Korea have long collaborated in the development of chemical and other WMD.

Russia air base in Latakia houses advanced S-400 missiles. 2 North Korean KOMID shipments were intercepted on their way to Syria. 10 years ago Israel destroyed a Syrian nuclear plant built by North Korea. It was destined to produce plutonium for the nuclear programs of North Korea and Iran.

Israeli aircraft struck several Syrian regime targets, one was the chemical weapons facility near Hama, central Syria. Missiles are also produced there.
More Israeli air sorties were reported against weapons convoys heading for Hizballah in Lebanon.

Syria had fired S-200 missiles against Israeli F-15s flying over Sidon but missed. There is an increase in the number of Iran officers and troops in southern Syria borders with Israel and Jordan. Hizballah leader Hassan Nasrallah boasted they have won the war in Syria.

Syria-Hellzballah cross Euphrates
Sep 17, 2017 - This is good for Iran, and grave for the USA and Israel.
The Syrian-Hizballah Army (and Iran) crossed the Euphrates River across pontoon bridges to reach the eastern bank and establish a bridgehead there. The day the MiG-29s arrived in Syria, British Gen. Rupert Jones threatened to strike them if they crossed the Euphrates River.

US watched the Russians putting the pontoons over the river for the crossing but did nothing.

This step is tantamount to opening up an Iran military corridor between Iraq and Syria by cutting deep into the US-ruled region of eastern Syria.

President Donald Trump and Binyamin Netanyahu have not acted. Both will address the UN General Assembly in New York this week. Sep 21 is UN peace day. What a joke.

Russia denied they targeted the SDF. The attack took place shortly after Syr-Iran-Hizballah crossed the Euphrates with Russian air cover, in defiance of a coalition warning.

The Yom Kippur War of 1973 is not far from Israel’s memory.

Sep 18, 2017 - Lotsa luck. Zones should not undermine Syria's sovereignty, independence, unity and territorial integrity. Russia, Turkey and Iran created de-escalation zones in Syria, in Eastern Guta, parts of Homs and Latakia in the northwest, and in the provinces of Idlib, Hama and Aleppo. De-escalation zones in some parts of southern Syria will be created based on Russian initiatives.

Idlib province in northwest Syria on the border with Turkey is largely controlled by Nusra terrorists.
