Jan 1, 2020 - DoD Secretary Mark Esper deployed 750 U.S. soldiers immediately to the Middle East following attack on the U.S. Embassy in Iraq. They are en route already. An infantry battalion from IRF of the 82ndABNDiv to CENTCOM. More ONREADY Trump told Iraq to use its forces to protect the embassy. Apparently Iraqi security allowed Hezbollah rioters into the Green Zone.
