NKorea runt waits Aug 15, 2017 - Kim could change his mind. Beijing flinches, North Korea holds off Guam threat, runt says he’ll watch a little longer. North Korean leader Kim Jong-un said he would watch US actions before making a decision on the threat to fire at Guam this week. This followed a blunt warning by US Secretary James Mattis. If they fire at the United States it could escalate into war very quickly. The US military would defend the country from any attack, at any time and from any quarter. If a missile was fired we'd take it out. kek.gg/u/q5B8China threat August 15, 2017 - China will not sit idle if Trump acts against its trade practices. US President Donald Trump authorized a review of China’s trade practices regarding intellectual property, which could eventually lead to US tariffs on Chinese imports and other trade sanctions. This would be eased depending on Beijing’s reining in of North Korea. China's commerce ministry issued a statement voicing serious concern and warning this would definitely harm bilateral trade relations. If the US side takes actions that impair the mutual trade relations, China will not sit idle. debka.com Bottom line We dont really know

North Korea Volcano Sep 17, 2017 - China limited access to a nature reserve on its border with North Korea after mysterious seismic shakes at the NK nuclear test site. Beijing reportedly closed the site over fears that underground detonations by NoKo could lead to rockslides or trigger an eruption of the active volcano Mount Paektu. Besides radioactive risks, the shock of a large blast could disturb mountains in the Changbai range. An underground nuclear explosion test near an active volcano constitutes a direct threat. www.newsweek.com/north-koreas-nuclear-blast-second-mystery-shock-felt-china-shuts-volcano-park-665517Mount Paektuen.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paektu_MountainGod may solve Trump's problem - using a volcano

China dumps debt on developing nations Oct 20, 2017 - U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson responds to the aggressive global agenda laid out by China President Xi. Tillerson was unsparing in his criticism of China business practices. He hammered China after praising India. Tillerson described the hunger of emerging economies and fledgling democracies in the region for infrastructure investment. “We have watched the activities of China, and the financing mechanisms it brings to many of these countries, which result in saddling them with enormous levels of debt.” Tillerson compared China’s economic growth to India’s and concluded China has acted less responsibly, at times undermining international rules. He called out China’s provocative actions in the South China Sea as a direct challenge to international law. tinyurl.com/ChidumpzdetSilk Road, BRICS banks My blog posts from a few years mehaf.freeforums.net/thread/408
