Jun 6, 2017 - US base set up at Zukf in the Syrian Desert for a showdown for control in southeast Syria. Its northwest of the Syrian-Iraqi-Jordanian border triangle and the Tanf crossing, which is controlled by US and Jordan. Zukf base was set up to block the Hizballah-Syria army. They intend to thwart Iran, Syria, Hizballah from gaining control of the Syrian-Iraqi border for an Iran weapons smuggling land bridge to the Mediterranean. It’s a huge loss for ISIS, and a big boost for the Kurds. ISIS still holds the area along the Euphrates River, and the border area due west of Iraq’s Nineveh Province, south of the Kurdish enclave in Hasakah. The YPG/J are women fighting on the front lines. Jun 12, 2017 - I question MANY things going on in Syria - the truth is completely hidden. There were (3,000 ISIS aka anti-Assad rebels, FSA) near the Jordan border. Assad-Hellzballah attacked blitzed Deraa and left 140 dead and hundreds injured. Some Russia? Was it Assad? I am waiting for facts which rarely comes til later. Hizballah Qaim led, followed by the Syrian army. Rebels could only find sanctuary in Jordan or Tanf, held by US. After capturing Daraa, the next victim may be Quneitra on Golan, too close to Israel.
